Long neck. Vivian, put your lungs down in the water just a little bit. There you go. You see when she did that, her back came out the water. Long neck now. Alright relax. When you do that drill properly, you have a long neck here, and you put pressure on your lungs forward and slightly down. But you don’t want to put your chin out here like this because what you want to think about is the energy runs up and down your spines, right out to toes your feet, and right out to your head. And really the energy runs out there in front and runs off behind so you got a line of energy you want to travel on. Alright here we go again. Head lead balance drill. Last time, very very nice. Ready….Go. Easy. Press your lungs, flat back out of the water. Very nice, very nice, relax.

When you press your lungs, and you’re on your shoulder like this, arms at your side, right here, you got to press into water on your shoulder. You’re looking straight at the bottom of the pool, keep your neck long. So let’s be on our left side - Head lead balance drill on you left side. Now think first: posture, line and balance. Look straight down Vivian. There you go. Ribs in, very nice, very nice.

Now in this drill you wanna make sure that you keep your arms in the saddle, not at your side, but in the saddle here at front. When you on your side the tendency is you lose your ribs out and get arch in your back. So you want to maintain posture line and balance. Take your ribs in. It’s a little harder because there is less surface area to balance on. So when you’re traveling on your side, you’ve got to really be conscious about your posture, line and balance. OK, coming back this way. We’ll be on the right side.

奎克教练在后续专门说了要求手放在身前是为了回臂的时候手肘顺势走圆环路线,是他之后双侧滚动的练习的前序。本科的手放身侧主要着重平衡和打腿。侧重不同你都可以练。

手放体侧那下练滚动是什么意思

没太明白,是本科的一个手放在身侧一个手划水的进阶单臂练习么?那是练滚动和呼吸的。

本科的教学视频算中级视频,是对能游起来的人的。奎克教练的算初级,从基础的漂浮一步步将得非常细致和到位,练习也是循序渐进的。连贯起来看就明白了。

奎克教练侧身滚动有把手放另一侧髋,而本科直接贴同侧。为什么?

in the saddle 应该理解为 控制好(你的手臂)就位,这里教练是指放在大腿前侧,和马鞍没有关系。

我后来又重新体会了一下这个动作,这里确实不该解释为控制,其实就是把手放在前面,教练的意思可能就是用马鞍的位置(马鞍的前面可能有个放手的把手)让学员把手放在裆部。{:soso_e120:}
