Your core may be strong, but how well does it function? Body Balance – 360 Rotation is an excellent test of how well you can use your core to control the movements of the rest of your body. A pull buoy is optional for this exercise -- either way is challenging. Start by balancing on your back in your most excellent streamline position. Hands locked. Head locked between the shoulders. Feet together and toes pointed. While holding your streamline position, and while using only the core to help you move and maintain balance, turn a full 360. Now, the fine points. Do this as slowly as possible. Use just your core to initiate and manage the rotation. Eliminate any movements with the hands or feet that might help you stay balanced. Do it all with your core.
