Today’s question is about breaststroke rate. Just like the freestyle rate question, it’s going to be about search and experimentation based on many factors. While the freestyle rate test showed how we vary the water speed at a set stroke rate, today we’ll do the opposite for breaststroke. The water speed will stay the same while we vary the stroke rate.
Only through variation and study can someone find the ultimate stroke rate for the event they’re swimming.
