When swimmers to turns in workout, there will be some good, and some not so good. This turn has both of those, but let's mostly focus on the good. As the swimmers approach the wall, we encourage them to get their heads underwater and tucked prior to the turn. While the swimmer in the back does a great job with the head tuck, he does open his head a bit and allow the back to get too straight. The swimmer closes to the camera does a great job using his hands to help him get his legs over. He also has a great plant on the wall, and pushes into a very nice streamline. While we'd prefer a little better dolphin off the wall, sometimes filming swimmers when they're not looking is a much better way to make sure they do better the next time. He'll be shown this! ;) |
