Purpose
This is an advanced drill to challenge your balance and core control in the water
Key Points
Kick on your side
Tap the water just behind your hip with your fingertips and recover the arm over the top of the water
Catch the lead arm just before your hand enters the water and rotate and repeat on the other side
Take a breath after the rotation whenever you need one, continually exhale smoothly between breaths
Progression into full stroke
Perform some full stroke immediately after the drill to really feel the improvement to your core control
