So the thing about someone like Brad is the stroke is usually very similar, depending, you know, no matter how fast he's swimming. So the arm pattern is the same. And this is the way you should think about practicing is what it would stroke. Are you going to use when you go fast? So what changes with Brad is how far the hands are together out front. So right now he's got a very overlapping catch up stroke. Not completely catch up, but the hands are very close together in the front. But again, just very relaxed. The timing of the hands is very close in front. And you'll notice that the pull pattern and the way that he goes through the water is very similar to when he goes fast. It's just the hands are much closer as you go slow. Yeah. It's still almost a catch up drill. Just making sure we get our timing right as we bring up and around for the next entry and the next pull, making sure we hold our line as we increase the speed, that distance between those hands are going to increase as we get a more tempo into the stroke. |
